About the role:
Lead social media along with the Brand team and manage all the Marcom & social media campaigns . This role will lead the social media &. Brand strategy efforts at Rapido. Will work directory with the marketing head.
The incumbent will manage stakeholders across digital marketing, brand, product, business and alliances.- If you are an idea person and just eat, sleep and breathe social media then you should certainly meet us-

Social Media centric Responsibilities :-
Create Rapido's social media strategy across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Snapchat, LinkedIn and Wordpress blog with inputs from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan social media campaigns (communications, contests etc.) in line with the strategy, organizational objectives and budget allocations.
  • Manage social media campaigns and day to day activities across all Social media platforms.
  • Create and maintain an exhaustive Social media calendar
  • Achieve brand objectives (qualitative & quantitative) as per brand guidelines with integrated  marketing plan.-Responsible for enhancement and representation of Brand image at all touch points.
  • Plan and Implement Cross promotional tie-ups & activities with other brands.
  • Lead dynamic content and video strategy and create and manage the content calendar.
  • Blogger outreach: Manage a blogger outreach program which will be used for creation of content for Rapido blog.
  • Detailed Reporting and Monitoring of Social media performance across platforms
  • Weekly performance reporting of all Social media platforms-
  • Develop benchmark metrics to evaluate social media campaigns and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor Social media trends and activities of main competitors
Content Based Responsibilities :-
  •  Managing the content for Rapido blog to ensure that the blog gets highly shareable content and also ranks in terms of organic traffic.
  • Copywriting for Offline communication across different cities with Rapido operations. Needs to maintain a cordial relationship with City marketing managers to understand their requirements so that the same can be incorporated in the creatives.
  • Needs to know effective copywriting in different styles viz. blogs, twitter, Facebook etc. Knowledge of writing for Search Engine Optimization is an added advantage.
  • Good command over grammar, punctuation and language.
  • Needs to have flair to understand Rapido's products and services and so that the same can be presented in a lucid manner across online and offline creatives.
  • 9+ years of experience in managing social media and content (Preferably from FMCG/FMCD,E-commerce or start-up background)
  • MBA or post-graduation in communications/advertising will be an advantage
  • Strong creative writing skills with command on grammar
  • Exuberant communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of strategizing and executing on content plans
  • Analytics and number driven with good excel skills
  • Hands-on knowledge of various social media reporting tools like - Meltwater, lexis , Brandwatch will be an added advantage
  • Creative, proactive, team player and ability to multitask
  • Can work with senior management in a cross functional team setting across geographies
